Three Steps to check accessibility

Turn on Accessibility Checker
In applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, access the Accessibility Checker by following these two steps:
- Go to the ‘Review’ tab.
- Select ‘Check Accessibility’.

Turn on Alt Text
To turn on alt-text functionality in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, follow these three simple steps:
- Right-click the image or object.
- Select View Alt Text.
- In the Alt Text pane, edit or approve the alt text.

Turn on Captions

- Locate the video, hover over it, and click the ‘More’ button.
- Select “Accessibility”’
- Click the “Auto Caption” button to request automatic captions.
YouTube
- Click your profile picture.
- Click Settings.
- From the left-hand menu, click Playback and performance.
- Check or uncheck Always show captions.
- Check or uncheck Include auto-generated captions (when available).
