Digital Learning @ DTEI
Establishing a digital learning environment with DTEI
Emerging technologies and digital learning platforms open massive potential for educators to implement various pedagogical innovations to enrich students’ learning experiences. Instructors at higher education institutions are eager to integrate active learning activities with technology-enhanced teaching strategies in the classroom. Our mission is to support UCI faculty creating an inviting digital learning environment to enrich Next Generation learners’ learning experiences and improve learning outcomes.
The Digital Learning team provides faculty consultation and support in various digital learning and online teaching related matters including online teaching, course development, pedagogical innovation consultation, third-party tool training, teaching with technology support, and more. We also collaborate with the Office of Information Technology (OIT) to co-support UCI faculty with their pedagogical teaching needs with the Canvas Learning Management System.
