Overview
Welcome to the DTEI faculty development workshop badge program where participants can earn badges for attending DTEI Workshops for Digital Learning Excellence. Our workshops are designed to provide you with the latest teaching pedagogy, strategies, and technology tools to enhance student engagement and interaction with course material. By attending these workshops, you will gain valuable skills in designing interactive and meaningful learning experiences, which can be applied to your teaching and your course. You’ll also have the opportunity to share best practices and strategies with your peers, to improve your workload management and work-life balance.
How Do I Earn Badges?
The types of badges that participants can earn depends on the number of DTEI Workshops for Digital Learning Excellence attended or contributions as a presenter or guest speaker. Attend one of our workshops to earn a Workshop Rookie badge. Attend five workshops within an academic school year to earn a Workshop Scout badge. Attend ten or more workshops within an academic school year to earn a Workshop Achiever badge. Note that, the first badge will be replaced by the second badge after 5 workshops and the second badge will be replaced by the third after 10 workshops. Be sure to keep track of your accomplishments and proudly showcase your achievements!
Upon completion of workshops, badges will be sent to your email registered with badgr.com, which you can download and share on social media or email at your convenience.

Attend FIVE DTEI workshops within an academic school year (Winter to Fall) to earn a scout badge.
