Leanna earned her Masters in Public Health (MPH), Sociocultural Diversity and Health emphasis, from UC Irvine at the Joe C. Wen School of Population and Public Health. At the Postsecondary Education Research and Implementation (PERI) Institute, she evaluates externally grant-funded education-focused programs by designing and administering surveys and interview protocols that meet their objectives. By using these techniques, she conducts data analysis & report writing to provide programs with feedback and recommendations. She also serves as an external evaluation representative and performs administrative tasks that support the organization of the institute.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities including going to the beach, hiking, and camping. She is also a Lego enthusiast and loves to build the architecture and botanical sets!
