Bo Choi (she/her/hers) is an instructional designer with over a decade of service in higher education, currently working at UC Irvine’s Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation (DTEI). With a B.S. in Engineering Technology and an M.A. Ed. in Multimedia Education, Bo has extensive training and experience in creating effective learning experiences and materials for technology-infused, hybrid, and online learning environments. Known for her thorough preparation and organization, Bo focuses on developing well-designed activities and providing timely feedback to enhance student learning. She effectively utilizes campus learning technologies and incorporates universal design principles to ensure inclusive learning opportunities for all students regardless of their abilities and backgrounds.

Prior to joining the DTEI team in August 2019, Bo served as an instructional designer at Cal Poly Pomona for 12 years. Beyond her professional life, she is a wife and mother to twin girls and a beloved furry companion. In her leisure time, Bo enjoys playing board games, watching movies and musicals with her family, gardening, and doting on her four-legged friend.
