Danny earned his Ph.D. in Psychology at UC Irvine. He leads DTEI with extensive experience advancing pedagogical excellence, institutional innovation, and inclusive learning environments in higher education. Danny’s expertise in educational development has gained national recognition through publications, invited presentations, and leadership within professional networks such as the POD Network. His work is driven by his desire to offer care to colleagues and students to foster more peace, joy, and community.

Outside of academia, Danny is a seasoned musician, primarily as a rock and metal guitarist!
