Fanny is an instructional designer at UC Irvine, where she has supported faculty since September 2019. Before joining UCI, she worked at San Diego State University for 8 years in instructional technology and faculty support. She specializes in accessible course design, student engagement strategies, scaffolded assignments, and integrating educational tools into learning management systems such as Canvas, Moodle, and Blackboard. Fanny is also an active member of UCI’s IT Accessibility Workgroup (ITAW) and the cross-campus Canvas Learning Outcomes Group. She co-leads UCI’s AccessibiliTrees Badging Program and helps faculty design inclusive, motivating learning experiences across in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
Outside of work, Fanny enjoys baking cookies, crafting, and going on outdoor adventures like camping and kayaking with her husband and their dog Sammy.
