The goals for this workshop are to introduce participants to Active Learning as an effective approach to teaching and learning, to model and discuss a variety of Active Learning strategies, and to tackle the dilemma of covering content versus promoting student engagement with the material. Participants can expect to come in contact with scientific articles on the topic and to engage with a range of examples of how to flip a class successfully by ensuring the achievement of desired Student Learning Outcomes.
