Active learning techniques can demonstrably improve student engagement, performance, and satisfaction–but incorporating these techniques in your teaching often frustrates instructors and students alike. In this 90-minute workshop, participants will practice and compare a variety of active learning techniques, and discuss concrete strategies for enhancing their teaching practice while creating student buy-in. This workshop is open to graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and faculty from any discipline.

** This workshop partially meets the Active Learning requirement for the Certificate in Teaching Excellence.
