Course Design Certificate Program
Date, Time, and Location: Friday, January 14th, January 21st, January 28th, and February 4th, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm PST via Zoom. *Participants must attend all sessions.*
Description: This certificate program provides a foundational overview of successful course design practices. Participants will practice ‘backward, integrated course design,’ by establishing goals for student learning and aligning assignments and assessments with these goals. By completing the program, participants will earn a Certificate in Course Design, create a draft syllabus for a course they may teach in the future, and learn effective teaching strategies.
