In this workshop we will explore the importance of using multiple forms of classroom assessment techniques (CATs) as a means of more effectively meeting student learning objectives (SLOs). Workshop participants will explore how to strategically utilize formative and summative techniques to give students the opportunity to practice and demonstrate what they learn. As well, a more diverse palette of assessments are more inclusive of the various ways we learn and can engage new material.
