Inclusive Teaching Institute

The Inclusive Teaching Institute (ITI) is a faculty-led professional development program designed to support faculty in cultivating a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility (DEI-A) culture in the classroom.

New Faculty Teaching Academy

The New Faculty Teaching Academy is a summer program that introduces new faculty to UCI’s instructional landscape and offers practical training to prepare for the coming year.

Certified Learning Assistants Program (CLAP)

Learning Assistants (LAs) are undergraduate peer educators that work with students in the classroom setting to support and facilitate active learning in courses that are traditionally difficult or have high enrollment. 

Teaching Experiment Academy

A collaborative team from UC Irvine, San Jose State University, and Cal Poly Pomona has created a  faculty development program, the Teaching Experiment Academy (TEA) which explores an alternate method of grading.
