Receive Training & Technical Support During the Transition:

DTEI offers teaching consultation as well as one-on-one support to help faculty transition their EEE courses to the Canvas system. An R.S.V.P. is strongly encouraged to minimize the wait time. Please note event hours may vary by quarter. The schedule listed below is for Winter 2018.

The EEE/Canvas Transition Workshop

Need help transitioning your course from EEE to Canvas? This two-hour hands-on working meeting will help you get started with the course transition process. Please bring your laptop and an updated syllabus, and an assigned instructional designer or student technology consultant will assist you during the workshop.

The DTEI Open Lab

DTEI offers one-hour individual consultations to address faculty’s teaching needs. Faculty can now stop by the Open Lab and meet with our support staff to discuss: formulating a new teaching idea, implementing a specific technology tool, determining a suitable lecture recording strategy, and anything related to teaching preparation and practice.

Professor Alfaro has been an active EEE user who relies on many EEE features to deliver her ICS 139w course. In Summer 2017, she successfully transitioned her course from EEE to Canvas. Learn about her experiences moving the EEE course to Canvas.
